A thousand miles

[audio:1000Miles.mp3] Makin’ my way downtown, Walkin’ fast, Faces pass and I’m homebound. Starin’ blankly ahead, Just makin’ my way, Makin’ a way through the crowd. Now need you, Now miss you, And now I wonder… If I could fall into the sky, Do you think time would pass me by? ‘Cause you know I’d walk a thousand miles If I could just see you… Tonight. It’s always times like these When I think of you, And wonder if you ever think of me? ...

So when an Erie man announced he’d ignited salt water with the radio-frequency generator he’d invented, some thought it a was a hoax. John Kanzius, a Washington County native, tried to desalinate seawater with a generator he developed to treat cancer, and it caused a flash in the test tube. ...

Kaffee

Black as devil Hot as hell Pure as angel Sweet as love I drank coffee again today. Too bad to break my will. It was well on start, I have a dish of streamed egg plant from Monday till today (Wednesday)as morning dish. Nothing wrong from that, no coffee for two full days long. ...

Meet the Robinsons

**Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.** Walt Disney -– Let it go Let it roll right off your shoulder Don’t you know The hardest part is over Let it in Let your clarity define you In the end You will only just remember how it feels ...

Sarcastic

I was wondering about many things on the land I was born. Land of Free sex and Temple, but none accept that. Land of Ethics, but all is only illusion. Land of Smiles, but I don’t know what that inside. Land of Faith, that many people live with that without any tries to find the truth. Many years passed, when I moved along to many places; I’m realized that all country has her problems. ...

Black ship

On July 8,1853 four black ships led by USS Powhatan and commanded by Commodore Matthew Perry, anchored at Edo (Tokyo) Bay. Never before had the Japanese seen ships steaming with smoke. They thought the ships were “giant dragons puffing smoke.” They did not know that steamboats existed and were shocked by the number and size of the guns on board the ships. At age 60, Matthew Perry had a long and distinguished naval career. He knew that the mission to Japan would be his most significant accomplishment. He brought a letter from the President of the United States, Millard Fillmore, to the Emperor of Japan. ...

Google.org

In 2006, Americans gave more than $290 billion to charity. Which sounds great, but if our country is, as some say, “the most generous,” we should ask ourselves a few questions: why are there growing numbers in line at food banks? When will American people give as much per capita for international aid as the Netherlands, for one? This is what Melissa S. Brown, Associate Director of Research, Center on Philanthropy, Indiana University; Managing Editor of Giving USA, spoke. ...

Natural Selection

When I was younger than this, trying to write a better worm and brutal force algorithm; And after all I found one that match my found. Genetic; It’s always match all possibilities with less time that possible. Easy, all the possibilities are shown in one time calculation. So after that I addicted in that kind of stuff. Back to our real world: We can read all genetics code, can reproduce, can copy, can adapt it. So now we are new gods? ...
