Zombie

Another head hangs lowly child is slowly taken

And the violence caused such silence Who are we mistaken

But you see it’s not me, it’s not my family In your head, in your head they are fighting?

With their tanks and their bombs And their bombs and their guns In your head, in your head they are crying?

In your head, in your head

Zombie, Zombie, ….

What’s in your head, in your head?

Zombie, Zombie, ….

Another mother’s breaking heart is taking over

when the violence causes silence We must be mistaken

It’s the same old theme since 1916

In your head, In your head they’re still fighting?

With their tanks and their bombs And their bombs and their guns

In your head, in your head they are dying?

In your head, in your head

Zombie, Zombie, ….

What’s in your head, in your head

Zombie, Zombie, ….

Ode to my family

Understand the things I say Don’t turn away from me Cause I spent half my life out there You wouldn’t disagree D’you see me, d’you see Do you like me, do you like me standing there D’you notice, d’you know Do you see me, do you see me Does anyone care

Unhappiness, where’s when I was young And we didn’t give a damn ’cause we were raised To see life as a fun and take it if we can My mother, my mother she hold me Did she hold me, when I was out there My father, my father, he liked me Ol he liked me, does anyone care

Understand what I’ve become It wasn’t my design And people everywhere think Something better than I am But I miss you, I miss ’cause I liked it, I liked it When I was out there D’you know this, d’you know You did not find me, you did not find Does anyone care

Unhappiness was when I was young And we didn’t give a damn ’cause we were raised To see life as fun and take it if we can My mother, my mother she hold me Did she hold me, when I was out there My father, my father, he liked me Ol he liked me, does anyone care

Does anyone care

When we were young

Funny how things just tasted better When we were young When we were young

Funny how things just seemed so easy When we were young

It’s been a long day It’s been a long day It’s been a long day It’s been a long day

I wanna get out I wanna go home Is anything better than you on the phone?

I wanna get out I wanna go home Is anything better Than you on the phone

I think that we weren’t always grateful For what you’ve done When we were young

I think that we weren’t always grateful For what you’ve done

We’ve come a long way We’ve come a long way We’ve come a long way We’ve come a long way

I wanna get out I wanna go home Is anything better than you on the phone?

I wanna get out I wanna go home Is anything better than you on the phone?

You on the phone You on the phone

I wanna get out I wanna go home Is anything better than you on the phone?

I wanna get out I wanna go home Is anything better than you on the phone?

Ordinary day

This is just an ordinary day Wipe the insecurities away I can see that the darkness will erode Looking out the corner of my eye I can see that the sunshine will explode Far across the desert in the sky

Beautiful girl Won’t you be my inspiration? Beautiful girl Don’t you throw your love around What in the world, what in the world Could ever come between us? Beautiful girl, beautiful girl I’ll never let you down Won’t let you down

This is the beginning of your day Life is more intricate than it seems Always be yourself along the way Living through the spirit of your dreams

Beautiful girl Won’t you be my inspiration? Beautiful girl Don’t you throw your love around What in the world, what in the world Could ever come between us? Beautiful girl, beautiful girl I’ll never let you down Won’t let you down Down, down…
