This is the decalaration that we move from wordpress to SSG (Static Site Generator) era. As far as I know Wordpress is very bloat. you need to add many tools to make it usable in the way it should. For the site like gfxtm that never need to be.
Hugo is website generator that runs on Go lang, it’s very lisgtning fast on generate the website, I use hugo on my own three website. gfxtm rathwjj and possibe.
On gfxtm firstly, I use hugo-profile theme It’s fast and beautiful, however the limit of one page theme is what most problem me. I will tell what I do after that.
On possibe I use Blowfish theme It’s best for what I expected possibe to be, the document and article library. It’s work best with mermaid and all shortcode ready made. And Blowfish manual give me alot of ideas.
On rathwjj, this site. I use paper mod. As paper mod is the very minimal and wait for you to put your ideas. I use what the ideas of shortcode in blowfish to apply here.
Ones are Admonition to new gfxtm that now use papermod too. Badge and timeline are the other that I see it’s great so I apply both on new gfxtm and rathwjj.
SVG idea is the main point of new gfxtm, as all the things there use SVG, it’s scalable it’s easy to optimize and it’s can change color to reflect theme.
