when you try to install osx86 it may show that you cannot install

this may help

Darwin’s promt:
* -f This forces rebuilding of extensions cache
* -s Boots into a single user command line mode
* -v Verbose, boots in text mode showing all debug info and errors
* -x Boots into safe mode
* -F Ignore configurationfile
* rd=disk0s1 – Tells Darwin to boot from a certain partition specified in BSD format.
(Disk 0 specifies first HDD and s1 specifies first partition as 0 is the MBR.)
* cpus=1 Tells the system how many CPUs or cores to use, useful for Core Duo users.
* platform=X86PC – Can be used if problems with normal booting, ACPI is another option here
* -legacy Boots OS X in 32bit mode rather than 64bit if 64bit is used due to a 64bit processor
* idehalt=0 May stop stuttering
* “Graphics Mode”=”WIDTHxHEIGHTxDEPTH” (e.g. “1024x768x32″)
For VESA 3.0 graphics, you may append a refresh rate
after an “@” character (e.g. “1280x1024x32@75″)

sorry i didn’t check my blog for a while and it was hacked.

for me i think it’s not true, it’s the human defensive.

iphone app

previously i didn’t so deeply in iphone, i didn’t know why people addict on iphone so much.

it’s just smart phone, with some app: that what i think previously.

but after a while, after i used iphone os with cydia, i can feel how powerful this os become.

many website make their own separate page for iphone, some make app.

For me i tried some plugin for wordpress but found that pradt using wptouch and i found that it’s more flexible than what i used that time;

so i switched and i think it’s worth to.

try my page on iphone and you will see different appearance.

setting osx screen resolution with chameleon

1. Make a clean installing OSX & select one of boot loader
2. Update to Chameleon 2.0RC2 Build r640 & Repair Disk Permissions and reboot twice to ensure that your installation success.

3. looking for screen resolution available to your machine from (Video Info) in Chameleon boot screen.
Make Test, just boot in (Verbose) mode and type your screen resolution or type this.

-v “Graphics Mode”=”1280x800x32@60Hz”

Now, you have 1280×800 fixed resolution without mouse disappear

4. Run (OSX86Tools), select (Add EFI String/Boot Flag) & Add this code to (Flag) Field

“Graphics Mode”=”1280x800x32@60Hz”

Press Apply, Reboot & Success.

the system ask for your password, then add it after the
Kernel Flags
“Graphics Mode”=”1280x1024x32″

this is the sequel to strenghten security of Windows XP : please read that blog before cont’d on this.

to disable the annoyances “autorun.inf” by two method.

1. the regedit way. (you can read about regedit here);

run regedit

click

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

click

SYSTEM

click

CurrentControlSet

click

Services

click

Cdrom

(next time i will use the syntax > for each click on regedit

so this all will be

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services > Cdrom

Double click “Autorun” the value is set to 1 by default, change it to 0 (zero).
Click OK
Now restart, that’s it!

2. the tweakui method (you can read about tweakui and power toy here)

run tweakui

go to submenu

“my computer”

click

autoplay

click

Drives

( as breif my computer > autoplay > Drives)

remove tick on all drive

and

my computer > autoplay > Types

remove tick o both “Enable autoplay on”s

the greatest free tools from microsoft; i think this one must be the best that microsoft ever released. it is the best for customizing windows XP

Windows XP is the great os as proven for 7 years for that long period of usage; many improvement, patched and many utility launched but i still think tweakui is the great tool.

tweakui and its pack power toy were a set of tool that combine mini-tools that including;

Color Control Panel Applet / SyncToy PowerToy / RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer / ClearType Tuner PowerToy / HTML Slide Show Wizard / Alt-Tab Replacement / Open Command Window Here / Tweak UI / Power Calculator / Image Resizer / CD Slide Show Generator / Virtual Desktop Manager / Taskbar Magnifier / Webcam Timershot

but for me tweakui is a must i will drill down for the use of tweakui in each area in the next blog.

do you know regedit or registry editor? it’s the great tool that use to represent windows xp as the best way microsoft can.

folder like style of representing something that windows xp are; we can check state of everything in windows xp just by looking at the value in register; and the tools that use for viewing that regedit.

regedit or registry editor store all value as the directory based tree system; the main value is hkey_class_root, hkey_current_user, hkey_local_machine, hkey_users, hkey_current_config

what’s all that represent?

all of the registry (.reg) in windows xp represent the state of each part of program being. like you enable this device, or disable. you let this function did it work or not. you set some programs to start at startup?

all of that is register!!!

what the main idea? why we need to know about regedit?

to enable or disable some functions; to remove some virus; to remove some annoyances feather in windows xp; that all we need with regedit.

In my view; i think microsoft made a great work of structure in windows xp, something they failed is only how they set the default value. that make the windows xp is easy to breach. and at least i think windows xp is the better os than windows vista.
