have to confess here that I’m not good on criticism, not good on review, what I can do here is only to share what I read… actually should call listen. I bought this book for long but never finish. apparently that when I listen audio book it’s easier than it seem.

oh if you wish I can translate it to Thai. sorry I read a little Thai books, too little to do a good translate; more than that, I feel that I never read and understand any Thai translated book.

back to our topic, this book describe on the situation that you wish on change for better. there were three parts that you have to concern;
your reason, your emotion, and your path

in this book, writer compare our reasons as the rider, emotion as elephant, and the way to the goal is your path.

to make your goal succeed in long run, you need to let yourself, your team, or even your community to accept it both with reasons and emotional. and the method to that should be clear, easy to achieve, and can follow up in the short term.

note; for whom that want to be slim. change your bowl size to be half of what you had, help a lot.

try using half size bowl on everything, and you will know what I meant.

firstly, I want to write this as a note in fb in Thai but, change my mind about that.because write this in English no need for me to use more soften words, that I don’t know. I just write what I have heard, some of that I agreed, some I just have been heard.

for people that don’t know anything i just write about new novel on my own, it’s not related on any true story. so please do not too much in too it, ok?

several year before, I discussed with some of my relatives that never return to their homeland. by very curious I asked them why? did they live better overseas?

most of them said “no”, the main reason they don’t wanna back to homeland, that they don’t wanna be alienate by the person that they used to talk about 10 mins, and they don’t agree to stand, or do some silly ceremony, may attack by zombies that used to be human in their eyes.

“is that so serious?” I wonder for that time. “you will see, someday”

for now as I see many cases, now I understand what kind of zombies they talked about.

to invite them to the land of zombies by any reason too risk for their life. so now I understand now how unholy the land it is.

down here, most of that came from my twitter, some part brush up.

the true victory will attained by making a stand, not the result of that stand.

be honest with yourself, is “success” really worth what you’re willing to pay?

many times, you foresee it, your own paths; the problems were always yourself that reject the path you were foresee.

most of all, I cannot remember which language i spoke in my dream. it seem like most people speak the same with me.

most of the time, i think i understand what you said, but i just don’t want to be the one whom make decision. it hurts badly many times.

you will only be beaten if only when you believe you have been beaten.

I never wish to know many languages, I just wish to understand all that others want to tell me.

I did not want to be rich, I just want to have enough to need no wish any more.

I did not want to be genius, i just want to smart enough to know which should be persistent, and which should be ignored.

I did not want to know much about you, but only want to hear what you really want to say.

and the last of all

I wish I can be dumb enough to not play dumb when some persons say something bad about me.

i had learnt that, most accountant find what the cheapest more than what is most suitable. and in the long run it made all the cost growing up, dramatically. and they never learnt their lessons.

Do you ever read ‘The Happiness Hypothesis’ by Jonathan Haidt?

if not i will make some conclusion for that book for a little, sorry if it’s too short and too brief.

Haidt had compare our thinking methods as elephant and its rider, elephant for the emotion part, and rider for reason part.

if you want to do something or change some behave or try to convince others, the thing you must should make both elephant and rider go to the same path.

if only rider (the reason) goes with you, in the long run that will last not long, but if both elephant and rider go together, the rate of successful able raise dramatically.

to do that you should set that goal that easy to see, archive able and obvious easy step to step.

ok that the next goal i will do soon.

“Did you ever hear the tale about two japanese carpenters. one that came from very rich family that had his own lumber mill and his father workshop, another came from very poor twelfth son from 25 brothers and sisters. they both came to learn how to master carpenter skills from the famous carpenter master in edo.

the rich boy learn everything quickly, know how to master everything easy and smooth, while the poor one feel himself very dull. had to learn everything twice and very slow to response to the master. but so ever, even that, the rich one still think his master loved the poor one more than him. he felt jealously every his master complement to the poor one.

while both finished all learning and had their own shops, the rich one made all the connection and left only the very hard and impossible works for the poor one. by thinking that would put the poor one to the hardship and quit the thought to be carpenter.

ten years later, the rich one already forgot about his fellow poor one. while sitting in his big workshop, a customer came and ask him for working that he thought that it’s impossible to do. the customer said that he got one of this kind by other lumber shop, and while he listened to the name of the owner of that shop,made him shock. it was his poor fellow.

he asked where the shop was, the hurried to reach there in half an hour, the very big and good reputation to any one around there. the poor one now not poor, he was reputation on doing what impossible on others. cheap and good on quality. when the shop owner see his old friend, he gladly greeting. asking about what other works. talked about his old work that passed. at the first it’s very hard for him to work. but after a time, he learn how to make a move, how to do work cheaper and less wasted. about 2 years later he can work on every work that other denied.“

that sure for every one to go on the hard time. but what you learn from the hard time? it’s only passed? or you got lesson or two?

many time the hard time is the very good time to revise, to rethink, to re our habit.

because it’s better to not complain when raining drop on your head, but learn how to use it on your own ways.

The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People

just for my own reference after finish reading this book.

it has 7 parts same as the book name.

1. Be proactive

2. Begin with the end in mind

3. Put first things first

4. Think win-win

5. Seek first to understand then to be understood

6. Synergize

7. Sharpen the saw.

to be proactive that meant you have to make a planning or mapping of goal that you set for the final of what you want to be. that bring us to the second, begin with the end in mind. that you must have the image of yourself, that what you want to be in the end.

for that final path you have to prioritize yourself what to do to bring you to that path, by put first things first. and to take you to that path you may need to interact with other people, you must think about other in win-win situation for the long run relationship. and to know what is win-win you should understand what other need by seek first to understand other need and value, before letting other understand you. and to work with others have to work synergize not compromise. your work result should be more not less than individual work. to make yourself work as good as possible you should use the right tools. to put down your stress, and bring yourself on the right situation all the time. by sharpen the saw.

that’s all the conclusion that i can make for that book.

So if gods wish to punish me; i prayed that please let me know what should to continue to, and what should i ignore. let me learn about my fault to make me realize what should not do faulty same mistakes again and again. let me strong enough to let things i should not keep it go. Let me weak enough to un-trust myself for something that unfaithful.
