Many can not change to other OS cause of the Programs that has to stick on Windows.

That is the most strong point of Windows;

Backward compatible;  most of programs that run on Windows 3.1 still can run on Windows 98 and most of programs that can run on Windows 98 can run on Windows XP.

Somehow many of Programs that are using 16 bit subsystem may experience some problems with Windows XP.

In case that you still need to stick on XP and some program that is using 16 bit subsystem.

Try using DOS 7 in Windows XP. you can make boot disk b windows XP and run test program on DOS that come from XP.

and same money for buying seperate DOS program.
